About the Company
This powerful women’s initiative is designed for the woman with a “Because I Can” Attitude and who is passionate about Minnesota Vikings football. It’s for the woman who believes they can “talk the talk and walk the walk” of football just like the guys can. It’s for the female Vikings fan who wants to be unique, have fun and be classy when sporting her football gear.
My passion for the company was driven by:
- The need in the market for classy, unique, and motivating sportswear for the female Minnesota football fan, that was beyond just t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc., and that makes them feel empowered and unique when wearing.
- The ambition to pursue the “American Dream” while connecting to something that I am passionate about.
- The desire to give back to the community and those in need through the success of this initiative, especially; giving back to non-profit women’s organizations.
The statement “Because I Can” was connected to this initiative to give empowerment to those female football fans who proudly wear it, not only for their passion for their team, but their own strength and “Because I Can Attitude”: I am a woman who can accomplish whatever I strive to do in life and/or overcome any obstacles that would hinder my vision of life.
I am a “True Blue Minnesotan” growing up as the “Tomboy” of three girls in the family and catching the football from my brother in the street. Over the years, I have watched Fran Tarkenton run around the Met Center, Randy Moss become our “mooning” hero and the number of NFL Female Fans in the stands almost reach that of the guys!
I have been inspired throughout building my company by family members and their “Because I Can” spirit. My hope is that when my customers purchase and wear this exclusive sports apparel line, is that they feel the energy, enthusiasm, and “Because I Can Attitude” that comes with it. That they stand out in the crowd!
Oh, and P.S. – Nothing wrong with bragging to the opposing fans that you are one of an elite group of female NFL fans in Minnesota!
