Vikings Host Special Olympic Athletes 5.20.09
Brandon & Bob Meet A.P.!

Queen.com was honored to chaperone a Special Olympian when the Vikings hosted 50 Special Olympics Minnesota athletes from across the state. The athletes joined Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson and many of his teammates for a fun Punt, Pass and Kick Clinic at Winter Park. Peterson has been a supporter of SOM since his rookie season of 2007. Plus, it was a great day for collecting autographs and talking with their favorite Vikings players. Coach Childress addressed the Special Olympians before they took the field to get them all “pumped-up”! Since 1973, Special Olympics Minnesota has been enhancing the human potential and quality of life for children and adults with intellectual disabilities by offering year-round sports training and competition.
VQueen.com salutes these special athletes and admires their “Because I Can” attitude!!
