Thank you to Team VQueen/Because I Can for making this past Mother's Day a truly inspiring one. Our team was one of many that helped to make this year's Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure a huge success. The event had over 50,000 registered participants and has raised nearly $2.7 million in the fight against breast cancer. Thanks to those of you who donated to our fundraising page where we were able to raise $495. Set your calendar for next year's race on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 10, 2009 at Mall of America. We hope you will join our team and show-off your Because I Can attitude in support of a great cause!
Because I Can, LLC proudly sponsored a team in the Breast Cancer 3-Day benefiting the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation the weekend of August 24-26. It was truly inspiring at the closing ceremonies to watch thousands of women who walked 60-miles and raised 6 ½ million dollars in support of Breast Cancer Research.
